This is the second time I attend the “Star of outlook English talent competition”. Last time I failed in the second round. But this time, I won the first price in the second round and got the qualification for the Shenzhen final. I was overjoyed because I was the only person in my school who could do it.

　　The day before the Shenzhen final, I went to the Luoling foreign language school to pre-experience the environment .But when I saw all the other contestants performed perfectly on the stage, and thinking that the concert hall would be crowded with people by this time the next afternoon, I felt extremely nervous and my heart beat violently.

　　Just then, Teacher lee approached, padding my shoulder gently, he said:” Don’t worry, even the most experienced actor will feel nervous when facing large group of audience, and all you have to do is to consider those audience as something you like most, something delicious like ice-cream or chocolate ,then you will show you emotion when needed and you won’t feel nervous anymore.”

　　The next day, when it was my turn to make speech, I kept on thinking what teacher Lee had told me, reminding me that I was only making my speech in front of a large photo. I succeeded.

　　Now, representing Shenzhen, I am going to attend the National final. I hope that I can make my dream come true. No matter what kind of situation I shall encounter, I will always try my best.
