His Excellency Mr Francois Descoueyte, Ambassador of France to Australia, visited the University of Wollongong today (22 June) for site visits to key research centres and to meet staff and students who have research and study interests in France.
The Ambassador's visit to the main campus was hosted by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), Professor Margaret Sheil, who also presented a general overview of the University, including UOW research.
Site visits included inspections of the Centre for Medical Radiation Physics and the Mass Spectroscopy Facility.
