新西兰的高等教育机构包括大学、理工学院和教育学院。到目前为止，新西兰共有8所公立大学，19所国立理工学院，4所独立的教育学院颁发的学历获得中国教育部认可，另外有6所私立学校颁发的学士学位也得到了中国教育部的承认。
