请学生通过官网Get Started页面确保他们已设置学生帐户并完成注册；

同时强烈建议学生根据个人情况仔细考虑是否延期至下次开学，进一步特殊的晚到需求将不会被允许。

The University of Melbourne would like to extend our thanks to the work your team is currently doing to support our future student community joining us in Melbourne for the start of Semester 1, 2024.

We are aware that visa applications for some of our students have been delayed and to facilitate their arrival to campus, the University of Melbourne will be allowing a general extension (*course exclusions apply) for our students to be enrolled and arrive by Friday 8 March 2024, ready to commence classes by Monday 11 March 2024. Please refer students to the Get Started pages and ensure they have started to set up their student accounts and complete their administrative enrolment.

Whilst the extension is in place, we strongly recommend that you work with each student to consider carefully whether a deferral to the next available intake is more suitable. Special consideration will not be granted based on late arrival.

*Excluded courses from this late arrival extension are as follows:

- Bachelor of Biomedicine (Degree with Honours) note that the 3 year Bachelor of Biomedicine is approved for late arrival

- Juris Doctor

- Master of Applied Psychology

- Master of Biomedical Science
