Non-211 and non-985 universities

Recently, we noticed some incorrect material being circulated on the Chinese social media platform Little Red Book (小红书）regarding changes related to USYD’s admission requirements.

These posts contain false information that USYD will no longer accept qualifications from non-211 projects and non-985 universities from 2025. We would like to remind you all that any changes to admissions will be communicated directly to the University’s registered agents through our official channels and will also be published on the institution’s official website. We understand that the misinformation may cause unnecessary distress to your students. Please ensure that this message is shared across your teams and with your students.
